Mladinska izmenjava
Erasmus+ projekt v Kastorii: “InclusiON: Empowering Minds, Bridging Gaps & Shaping a Gender Equal Future” (Opolnomočenje uma, premoščanje vrzeli in oblikovanje enakopravne prihodnosti).
Mladi so skozi različne delavnice in aktivnosti pridobivali nova znanja, izmenjevali ideje in razbijali stereotipe.
Večeri so bili še posebej zanimivi, saj so bili namenjeni kulturnim izmenjavam. Udeleženci so predstavili tradicionalno hrano, glasbo, plese in običaje svojih držav in s tem dodatno pripomogli k medsebojnemu razumevanju in spoštovanju kulturne raznolikosti.
Dnevi so bili razgibani in polni dogodivščin. Poleg delavnic in debat so udeleženci raziskovali okoliško naravo, spoznavali mestno jedro Kastorie, obiskali lokalne znamenitosti in se odpravili na izlet v Solun (Thessaloniki), drugo največje grško mesto. Tam so si ogledali kulturne in zgodovinske znamenitosti ter začutili utrip mesta.
Eden od pomembnih ciljev projekta je bil spodbuditi mlade k razmisleku o pomenu enakosti spolov in njihovem osebnem prispevku k oblikovanju bolj pravične družbe. Aktivnosti so spodbujale kritično razmišljanje, empatijo in sodelovanje. Skozi skupno delo so udeleženci odkrivali raznolike perspektive, gradili prijateljstva in se opolnomočili za prihodnje izzive.
Projekt je bil čudovita priložnost za širjenje obzorij, pridobivanje novih veščin in ustvarjanje nepozabnih spominov. Mladi so se domov vrnili polni vtisov, novega znanja in motivacije za nadaljnje delo na področju družbenih sprememb. Erasmus+ je ponovno dokazal, kako močno lahko mednarodno sodelovanje in neformalno izobraževanje povežeta ljudi in prispevata k oblikovanju bolj vključujoče in pravične prihodnosti.

In the picturesque town of Kastoria in northern Greece, an international group of young people gathered for the Erasmus+ project titled InclusiON: Empowering Minds, Bridging Gaps & Shaping a Gender Equal Future.
The project brought together 25 participants from Greece, Slovenia, France, Spain, and Romania, who spent seven unforgettable days filled with learning, networking, and exploration.
Designed around the principles of non-formal education, the program focused on the theme of gender equality. Through various workshops and activities, participants gained new knowledge, exchanged ideas, and worked to break down stereotypes. In addition to discussions and workshops, the participants led energizers—short, interactive games prepared by teams from each participating country to boost energy and engagement. Each country contributed uniquely to the program, enriching the activities with their experiences and expertise.
Evenings were especially engaging, as they were dedicated to cultural exchange. Participants showcased traditional food, music, dances, and customs from their home countries, fostering mutual understanding and respect for cultural diversity.
The days were dynamic and full of adventure. Alongside workshops and discussions, the participants explored the surrounding natural landscapes, delved into Kastoria’s historic town center, visited local landmarks, and took a day trip to Thessaloniki, Greece’s second-largest city. There, they discovered cultural and historical sites and experienced the vibrant atmosphere of the city.
One of the project’s key goals was to inspire young people to reflect on the importance of gender equality and their personal role in shaping a more just society. The activities encouraged critical thinking, empathy, and collaboration. Through teamwork, the participants explored diverse perspectives, built friendships, and empowered themselves for future challenges.
The project was a wonderful opportunity to broaden horizons, develop new skills, and create lasting memories. The young participants returned home full of impressions, new knowledge, and motivation to continue working toward social change. Once again, Erasmus+ demonstrated how international cooperation and non-formal education can connect people and contribute to building a more inclusive and equitable future.
